The cornerstones of Solbjerggaard

When renovating and restoring Solbjerggaard and when creating our bed and breakfast, there have been three cornerstones that we have put so much love and attention to. 

1)   All architectural initiatives and restorations are in line with the 17 sustainable development goals.

2)   The entire home, the gardens and all of the apartments are decorated with the happiness architecture in mind.

3)   The blue zones concept (focusing on connection, belonging, movement, relaxation and good food) is brought into our entire concept

We wish to foster connections, to make people feel happy and at home and to make sustainability mainstream, inspiring people to implement sustainability at home and inviting companies to come together to share and create sustainable initiatives.

With that, Solbjerggaard is not ‘just’ a regular Bed and Breakfast. It is a place where everyone feels at home, at ease, respected and appreciated. It’s a place where children get to play, and parents get to relax. A place for pleasant interactions and happy moments around the campfire. A place for storytelling, a place where your story matters and a place where you’ll be met with genuine interest. It is a home away from home where friendships are formed, and memories are made.
