About Solbjerggaard and your stay

About Solbjerggaard

Solbjerggaard B&B is a bed and breakfast in a restored four-winged half-timbered farmhouse from 1729 in Millinge, on South Funen in Denmark. It has seven units: one guest room and six self-contained apartments. Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Solbjerggaard is independent and family-run, not part of a chain. It sits in the countryside about 4.5 km from the town of Faaborg and about 3 km from the foot of the Svanninge Bakker hills. The main house dates from 1729 and has been restored with respect for the old buildings. Guests stay in low farm buildings around a large garden. The property suits couples, friends travelling together, and multi-generational families.

Who stays here

Solbjerggaard B&B primarily serves couples, friends travelling together, and multi-generational families. Couples choose it for the quiet, the garden, and the homemade breakfast. Guests repeatedly highlight the breakfast, the warmth of the host, and the garden with its many corners to sit in. Friends and larger groups can book several apartments and share the garden and terrace while each group keeps its own kitchen and bathroom. Multi-generational families use the mix of one guest room and six apartments to stay close together while keeping their own space. The apartments range from a two-person room to a 60 square metre suite. Dogs are welcome.
